This Giving Tuesday we're excited to announce the recipients for our annual charitable donations. We're committed to donating a percentage of our profits every year to great organizations making a difference in our community. Our charitable focus is to help rural communities thrive and grow. Our two choices do just that. The first is the Addison County Readers (Addison County Readers | Home). They work to promote early childhood literacy in Addison County Vermont by partnering with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library to provide every child under 5 years old with a new children's book every month. They are making an enormous difference in childrens' lives every day. The other organization is Hinesburg Town Forest, a community forest providing recreational activities from hiking, birdwatching, mountain biking, cross country skiing, and mountain biking. The forest is currently 834 acres and they have the opportunity to add an additional 291 acres! (Let's Expand Hinesburg Town Forest! - Vermont Land Trust (vlt.org)). We're grateful we can support our community in this way.
